The Body Shop: All-in-One Face Base

The Body Shop is one of the best and well-known beauty shop all over the Philippines. They’ve been one of the most progressive, eco-friendly, socially-conscious businesses around. Each and every product they offer is created with natural raw ingredients from all over the world. Of course, these products include their latest addition to their face makeup collection — The Body Shop All-in-One Face Base.

The Body Shop: All-in-One Face Base

As stated in the The Body Shop’s website, this product features a combination of powder as well as foundation which will give the face a velvety, matte base. It has no added fragrance and it’s dermatologically tested.

The Body Shop: All-in-One Face Base

I have been using various products for my face to provide coverage. However, I realized that I have to let my face breathe. That’s when I decided to give this product a try, since I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about it.

The Body Shop: All-in-One Face Base

During my first few weeks of using it, I tried putting sunblock underneath and foundation on top. When I got comfortable with it, I decided to use it with just the sunscreen underneath. That’s when this product really got to me. My face looked moisturized yet matte the whole time!

The Body Shop: All-in-One Face Base

One of the things I like about it is its posh container which most The Body Shop products are known for. What makes this face base a lot different from all the others is the fact that it can provide your face with medium coverage when used dry. On the other hand, it can provide heavy coverage when applied with a wet sponge. This means that it can be used as a day to night make up.

However, it is quite pricey. It’s retail price is 1,425.00 PHP (The Body Shop SM City – Bacolod). Yet, I can say that it is super worth it! With the moisture and coverage that it can provide your skin, why wouldn’t it be?

Considering that it’s an all-in-one product, the price isn’t so bad. Sana lang it has SPF. :)

I love the-body-shop products!! I remember back then I used to always buy their lip and cheek tint and that’s it… coz’ that’s the only thing I could afford and would splurge on. Everything else seems too pricey for me but I love going to their store because I can test out everything and then go rampa na in the mall afterwards. lol! This seems to be their new product, I have not heard of this yet. I have to go check their store sometime.. great review! I’d really love to try it!

I love the packaging and yes it’s really pricey for a foundation (well, for me) but since it’s body shop naman and all their products are really good I guess it’s worth it naman.

I’d love to give this a try! For me kasi, it’s medium to full coverage or none. If I’m not using my Revlon ColorStay liquid foundie, I won’t have anything on my face except moisturizer and sunblock. It’s nice that this face base is something in between. Something to provide some coverage, but can still let the skin breathe. Will definitely look for this when I visit The Body Shop! :)

I really love the product but agree ako sa mejo pricey (worth it naman). Sometimes I’d rather choose the expensive one that last long naman and gives you good outcomes than choosing the cheaper one. Diba? :)

Looks nice but too pricey for me, if it’s less than 1K, around 700 to 800, I think that would be okay.

This used to be my favorite foundation pero I find it a bit weird and messy to apply. So I went back to the usual liquid funda. :D
